ELVAR / Scope
Scope.
ELVAR runs two operating services: VERITY and EDIFICE. This page defines what each one covers and where the boundary sits. Anything not listed here is not in scope until it is agreed in writing.
VERITY: vendor compliance operations
VERITY is a maintained operating function. Each month, ELVAR collects vendor documents, verifies them against requirements the client defines, tracks expiries, manages follow-ups, and reports status. The work repeats on a fixed cycle.
In scope
- Collecting vendor documents against requirements agreed with the client.
- Verifying documents against those requirements.
- Tracking expiry dates and renewal deadlines across the vendor register.
- Managing follow-ups with vendors for missing or expiring documents.
- Organising records so they are ready to present for review.
- Reporting monthly: current, expiring, missing, and awaiting action.
Not in scope
- Legal advice of any kind.
- Compliance certification, or any guarantee of an audit outcome.
- Vendor approval decisions. The client decides; VERITY presents the evidence.
- Verifying document authenticity. This is a separate scope entirely, not part of VERITY.
- Statutory, financial, or certification audits.
- On-site vendor audits.
Why it is standardised. Vendor compliance work is the same from one company to the next. The documents change; the operation does not. VERITY therefore runs one defined system rather than a custom build per client. This is the deliberate exception to how ELVAR otherwise works.
EDIFICE: custom web build and automation
EDIFICE designs and builds custom websites and the systems behind them. Every engagement is built from scratch for the specific business. Nothing is templated, and nothing is assembled from generic parts.
In scope
- Custom websites. Design, copy, and build from a blank page. Search optimisation, a performance budget, and analytics are included. Content runs on a CMS the team can actually use.
- AI front desk. An AI receptionist trained on the business's own FAQs, pricing, and policies. It answers calls and messages, qualifies enquiries against criteria set at setup, books appointments straight into the calendar, and hands to a human when the conversation needs one. Runs on the website and WhatsApp, in the brand's voice.
- Backend automation. EDIFICE first examines which repetitive tasks are losing the company money, then builds custom multi-AI automation systems around those findings: enquiry routing, scheduled follow-ups, conversion and stall reporting. Every automation is logged and auditable, and the client sees a dashboard rather than a black box.
Not in scope
- Templates, themes, or page-builder assemblies presented as custom work.
- Generic chatbots not trained on the business.
- Reselling off-the-shelf software as a service.
- Work outside the plan signed before the build begins.
Why it is custom. Unlike VERITY, EDIFICE work is never standardised. Two businesses never receive the same website, the same front desk, or the same automation, because no two businesses lose money in exactly the same way.
What ELVAR does not do
- No legal advice, under either service line.
- No fabricated proof: no invented case studies, testimonials, or client lists.
- No work outside the agreed scope without a written variation.
- No handover of unfinished work as complete.
